Meet Our Team

MEGAN LAROCHE, Executive Director

I am honoured to share a momentous event in the trajectory of Laurencrest Youth Services Inc. It is with great privilege, pleasure, and enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the new Executive Director of our esteemed organization.

My professional journey, rooted in both non-profit and community sectors, has been marked by significant milestones. Drawing upon a decade of diverse leadership, my professional background reflects a nuanced and multifaceted expertise within our community. I am supported by a robust academic foundation, including a Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation, a Diploma in Dementia Studies, and a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Innovative Leadership. In addition to finalizing a Master’s degree in Social Work, I am dedicated to continuous professional advancement and enhancement aimed toward supporting our community. As a “Franco-Ontarienne”, I am proud to serve the community bilingually and excited to promote and embrace diversity.

Commencing my responsibilities on March 1, 2024, I look forward to leveraging my experiences, coupled with the support of the accomplished and skillful Laurencrest staff and our Board, to lead the organization with poise and vision toward new horizons.

I extend sincere appreciation to Mr. Dan O’Rourke for his invaluable support and dedication in shaping Laurencrest into the respectable institution it is today. His pivotal contributions have been foundational to the vitality of our organization.

I convey heartfelt gratitude to our valued stakeholders and community partners for your steadfast support of Laurencrest. Collaboratively, we endeavor to make a meaningful impact in the lives of the youth, adults, families, and communities we are privileged to serve. Under my strategic stewardship, I am confident in anticipating a promising future as we pursue our mission of assisting others in helping themselves.

I am very eager and excited to lead Laurencrest Youth Services Inc. toward positive transformations and continued success.
