Youth Mental Health Court Worker program

May 27, 2015 | Program Updates

Youth don’t always make the best choices. And that’s why the Youth Mental Health Court Worker is here to help. We help youth help themselves! Laurencrest oversees the YMHCW program for SD&G and Prescott-Russell.

Youth who participate in our Youth Mental Health Court Worker program receive a great deal of support to assist them in navigating through the complex justice system.    Through a variety of services we help hold youth accountable for their actions, give them a chance to connect with the local community and build treatment plans based on their wellness needs to increase their self-esteem, increase their capacity to be successful as well as develop transferrable life skills.

Requests for services to the Youth mental Health Court Program are often made by criminal justice or community members, but the program can be accessed with a self-request for service as well.

For more information contact Laurencrest at 613-933-6362.
